Let’s talk!
Our mission at the BloominThyme Collaborative is to expand the network of school gardens across the country so that students, teachers, and parents can connect with nature and the food they eat, ultimately leading more active and fulfilling lives.
School gardens provide context for multidisciplinary learning, ranging from nutrition and science to social studies, environment and math.
The hands-on gardening experience teaches students the impact of food waste on their community and the environment at large, benefiting us all.
Children who garden show improvement in test scores, behavioral problems and emotional issues as they work together toward a common goal.
