This school has an amazing greenhouse. The Ag class is top notch and these students really know what they’re doing.
And while they don’t really need our assistance, they are kind enough to work with us and share the bounty. For instance, we held a farm-to-table fundraiser utilizing our school garden harvest and these gardeners pitched in.
He kinda looks like Santa with a bag of Bok choy, doesn’t he? It was quite the gift for us and we thank the students!
As I mentioned, these guys really know what they’re doing. That’s an aquaponics system they’re using. Basically, it’s a closed water system utilizing the waste from tilapia. Cool! If you ever get the chance to visit, it’s worth the trip.
